I’m Nathan Dahl, founder and developer of WURXS. In my early 20s, I contracted a virus that left me suffering with high fevers and severe body and joint pain. I continued to suffer from recurring symptoms for years. My body was unable to bounce back. I went from being someone who loved pushing my personal limits in sports – like snowboarding and motocross – to someone who had to be very careful about letting myself get too exhausted in order to avoid symptoms. Ibuprofen became my best friend; it was the only way to alleviate the fevers and pain. Depression and anxiety soon set in. I was frustrated by my body’s inability to recover and stay healthy. I missed participating in all of the activities that I loved
Determined not to spend my life pining for my past health, I set out to find a solution – a way to improve my body’s overall health – to boost my immune response and return to the activities that I loved. I used the knowledge that I had as a pharmacist to create a nutritional support that would do just that. I knew that I needed a supplement that was more than just a multivitamin. I needed something that was highly absorbable, packed with all the vitamins, minerals, and nutrients that are absent from today’s foods. I needed something that was easy to incorporate into my daily routine.
After much formulating, testing, and reformulating, WURXS was born.
